Hampshire Bowl, Southampton

Also known as the West End it was established in 2001 with a capacity of 6500. The first ODI was played between South Africa and Zimbabwe on July 10, 2003 and the first T20 was played between England and Australia on June 13, 2005. Hampshire’s fourth home, it was designed by famous architects Michael Hopkins and Partners. It is designed like an amphitheatre, where the striking feature is a three-storied pavilion with canopied roof. Inspite of all the state-of-the-art equipment, it is yet to receive test status.
